Many customers inquire about the transportation and shipping costs of Volferda capsule houses through social media, WhatsApp, or email. Due to the various factors affecting shipping costs, we cannot provide instant and accurate quotes. To help you better understand the relevant information, this article will detail the transportation methods and shipping costs.
1. How to ship the Volferda house?
Volferda capsule houses are shipped from Foshan, Guangdong, China. There are three main transportation methods:
a)Land and Rail Transportation:
Suitable for shipping to inland countries such as Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.
Land and rail transportation are typically used for inland countries due to their geographical location, which makes sea transportation less feasible.
b) Sea Transportation:
Suitable for most regions, including Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Sea transportation is commonly used for these areas.
2. Is the house deliveryed as a whole hosue or in parts?
Volferda offer two main shipping options: Assemble Shipment and Disassemble Shipment. Here are the details:a)Assemble Shipment :
The house is fully completed at the factory before being shipped. This is usually done using 40-foot high cube containers (40HQ) or flat rack containers.
- 40-Foot High Cube Container(40HQ)
Suitable for products with a width of 2.25 meters, such as A1, A9, D1, D2, D3, D4, T1, M1, M2, QQ Cabin, and Starry Sky Room. The 40HQ container (12.03 meters long, 2.35 meters wide, and 2.67 meters high) can accommodate these products, resulting in lower shipping costs.
Installation is straightforward, requiring only a crane to place the house at the designated location without complex assembly. For two-story or multi-story houses, each module typically requires one container. For example, the D1 model, which consists of four Apple Pods stacked together, requires four containers for shipping.
-
Flat Rack Container:
Suitable for products with a width of 3 meters or 3.2 meters, such as E6, E8, and A2. These products cannot fit into a 40HQ container and each house needs one flat rack container for shipping, which incurs higher costs. Depending on the destination, shipping costs range from $6,000 to $10,000. This method is suitable for customers purchasing 1-2 units with limited construction experience. Once the house arrives, a crane will place it on the land, making the installation process relatively simple.
b)Disassemble Shipment
The house is 70-80% pre-fabricated at the factory, with all parts ready for assembly upon arrival at the local site. This method uses 40HQ to significantly reduce shipping costs.
Suitable for models with a width of 3 meters or 3.2 meters (such as E6, E8, A2). The pre-fabricated parts are packed into a 40HQ container for transportation, greatly reducing shipping costs.
Example: One 40HQ container can ship one unit of the E8 model. For larger orders, we will provide a professional packing plan to further reduce shipping costs and offer online assembly instructions. For orders of more than 10 units, we can also send technicians to assist with local installation.
